Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference begins June 6th with keynote
With the WWDC22 program available, the full slate of the event is all online and presented to over 30 million Apple developers worldwide for free.
Today, Apple announced its lineup of annual Worldwide Developers Conferences, including keynotes and State of the Union speeches, sharing more information with developers about what they learn and experience. Free for all developers, WWDC22 helps developers and designers explore the latest technologies, tools and frameworks for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS. Throughout the week, developers can connect directly with Apple engineers and designers through labs and digital lounges to get guidance on building innovative, platform-differentiating apps and games.
Apple Keynote
June 6th, 10am PDT
The WWDC22 will be the first to launch with a breakthrough update coming to the Apple platform later this year. Keynotes are available from apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and YouTube, and will be available for on-demand playback after the stream ends.
Platform State of the Union Address
June 6th, 2:00 pm PDT
Developers will learn how to take the app to the next level by digging deeper into new tools, technologies, and advances across the Apple platform. The platform’s State of the Union address is streamed through the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.
Apple Design Awards
June 6th, 5pm PDT
Each year, the Apple Design Awards recognize and recognize the arts, crafts, creativity, and technical expertise that Apple developers bring to their work. Apple Design Awards are delivered via the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.
Access to experts
With over 150 in-depth session videos, the WWDC 22 combines the latest tools and technologies to give developers the opportunity to learn how to create next-generation apps. Members of the Apple Developer Program, Apple Developer Enterprise Program, and 2022 Swift Student Challenge winners have one-on-one with Apple experts on implementing the latest technologies, adhering to best practices, and providing guidance on app design. You can request a lab appointment.
Beginning June 7, session videos will be posted daily on the Apple Developer app and Apple Developer website.
Activities
In addition to session and lab consultation, Apple engineers and designers are in the digital lounge to help developers participate in technical discussions, get answers to questions, and connect with the community. Hosts activities throughout the week. Try coding and design challenges, participate in Q & A, meet session presenters, and more.
Swift Student Challenge
Today, with the announcement of the winners of the Swift Student Challenge, Apple continues to congratulate student developers around the world. This event provides students of all ages with the opportunity to show their love for coding by creating their own Swift Playgrounds app project.
Developer app
The Apple Developer app is the perfect way to experience WWDC22 on your Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, with daily updates and notifications about the latest news, content, and activities. Developers can browse content by topic, sign up for digital lounges and one-on-one lab consultations, watch videos with colleagues using SharePlay, copy code directly from session videos, and feature articles.
