UConn Health has been recertified by the National Academy of Surgery Breast Center National Accreditation Program.



The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a quality program managed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), has granted accreditation status to the UConn Health Carole and RayNeag Comprehensive Cancer Centers.

The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a quality program managed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), has granted accreditation status to the UConn Health Carole and RayNeag Comprehensive Cancer Centers. To achieve voluntary NAPBC accreditation, the Breast Center demonstrates compliance with NAPBC standards that address the center’s leadership, clinical services, research, community engagement, professional education, and patient quality improvement. .. Breast centers seeking NAPBC certification receive on-site visits every three years.

As a NAPBC accredited center, the UConn Health Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center is committed to maintaining an outstanding level in providing comprehensive, patient-centric, interdisciplinary care that provides quality care for patients with breast disease. ..
