Advanced “predictive” AudioManager
The new Android TV Audio Manager’s “improved API” makes it easy to link your entire home sound system. Automatically cast to your favorite active device for hassle-free listening and watching.
Improved accessibility
Android TV now supports a variety of Input Device-driven keyboard layouts. All of this is made possible by the extended API. Now you can use audio description system-wide for any app or show.
Picture-in-picture and multitasking
Android and Google are aware that they are using the device, not just making Netflix a bing. Consideration for these new features allows you to hold a call at the same time without interrupting the session.
Picture-in-picture is in docking mode by default. When another app enters that app, the app’s activity should either support resizing to optimize the screen or opt out of docking mode so that the overlay appears on top.
