Apple’s apps and services are highly regarded for staying online and not crashing. But Murphy’s Law guarantees that in the end, what you want to use will crash when you want to. Here’s a handy checklist to get your rock’n’roll lifestyle back on track in case Apple Music suddenly stops working.

Quick answer
If Apple Music doesn’t work, try all the simple things first. This includes restarting the Music app, restarting your computer, and checking if Apple Music for everyone is down. If these fail, make sure you have the latest updates and more.
Jump to the key section
Restart the music app
It’s always best to start with something simple, and nothing is as easy as shutting down and reopening your music app.
However, keep in mind that clicking the red dot in the upper left corner will not close the app. Just minimize it to the Dock. To close the music app properly, right-click the app icon in the Dock and select[finish..
However, if you run into problems with the Music app, finish Instructions. You may need to kill it.To do this, right-click on the app icon again and finally finish Options are replaced with forced termination..
Alternatively, open Activity Monitor, find and highlight the Music app, and then click[X Top icon, followed by forced termination..
When the Music app is completely closed, reopen it to see if it works.
Please check your internet connection
If that doesn’t work, the next step is to check if you still have an internet connection. You can easily see this by looking at the top of your computer and looking for the Wi-Fi signal icon.
Switch Wi-Fi off and then on again. If it does not return to normal, restart the router.
Check if Apple Music is down
If your internet connection is good, the problem is likely to be on Apple’s side. The best way to find out is to go to Apple’s system status page. This will give you an idea of the current status of each Apple service. Red means it’s down and green means it’s okay.
Get the latest updates and reboot your device
If Apple Music is working, the next step is to make sure you have the latest updates.
To check if you have the latest music app, open the App Store and click[update tab. Now you can see if there are any available updates for the apps installed on your computer. If you have one for Apple Music, install it.
Then make sure you are using the latest version of your operating system. To check, click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner of the screen, System Preferences..When the box appears, click Software update..
Restart your computer when all updates have been applied.
Check your Apple Music subscription
Not working yet? Next, dig a little deeper. Maybe your Apple Music subscription is gone? It’s easy to miss renewing something with every subscription that people have these days. I wrote an article about canceling an Apple Music subscription. In the same way, you can check if your subscription is still active. If not, you can update it with just a few clicks.
Delete the album / song and add it again
There’s one more thing you can try if everything else fails. Delete the album or song that doesn’t work and try adding it again right away. There may be a problem that stops playing some albums. Normally, deleting an album and then adding it again will clear the jam.
