Using Android apps on your Chromebook’s Google Play store is more popular than ever and not possible on other types of computers. Chromebooks can access many of the same apps on your phone through the Play Store. The user experience of some apps will hit or miss even the best Chromebooks. Also, unfortunately some apps are not available on Chrome OS. Here are our favorite and most useful Android apps that work well on Chromebooks:

Spotify

Not surprisingly, the most popular music streaming services have great apps wherever you listen.[ホーム],[検索],and[ライブラリ]The navigation tab is in the upper left, below which you can see information about what is currently playing. On the right is where you can browse songs and podcasts, just like you would on an Android smartphone. It’s also better than Spotify’s desktop clients and web apps. Spotify has a free tier, but the premium tier allows you to download songs for offline listening, skip an unlimited number of songs, and listen without ads.

Squid is one of the best options for taking notes For Chromebooks, Google Cursive is a solid web-based alternative. It works best with Chromebooks that have a pen or stylus, but you can also use it with your mouse or finger. With this app, you can draw and draw diagrams in Virtual Notepad. You can change the color and thickness of the input device and the background style of the memo. Combining these features with gesture support makes navigation simple and intuitive.

Lightroom is free, but requires paid subscription cloud backup, multi-device access, and other premium features.

Remembering all passwords is difficult, but password managers can be a daunting task. Bitwarden is the top pick for Chromebook password managers. With this app, you can store passwords, banking information, and other sensitive information in one encrypted location. This service can automatically enter or generate a password and features two-factor authentication. Premium membership adds features such as 1 GB of cloud storage, additional two-step verification methods, and security reporting.

Gmail

Gmail is probably the most well-known email client, and its app has many other uses for Chromebook users. There is no default email client similar to the Windows email app, so Gmail can be a de facto option. With this app, you can add email accounts from various clients such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc. in one place. That is, you can close all these extra browser tabs.

The layout of Gmail is almost the same as your Android app. The left side is the list of emails and the right side is the currently selected email. At the far left is a button to change the category of your inbox, and at the bottom is a button to compose a new email. The Android app also allows you to access your email offline. This is a clear advantage over the web version.

Stacks make it easy to scan important documents. This app is provided by Google’s Area 120 experimental team. Stacks allow you to scan, edit, and sort PDFs into different stacks. These files are stored in the cloud and can be stored in Google Drive for added security. If your Chromebook has a camera, you can use it to scan documents. Otherwise, it’s very useful to manage all your files on a screen larger than your phone, even if your app doesn’t scale completely. Using Stack is fairly intuitive and is a great way to organize your files.
