Apple Watch is the most popular watch in the world, not the most popular watch Smart watchThe most popular look.. Its success is due in no small part to the way older models get better each year with annual watchOS updates.
watchOS 9 will be released this fall with the new Apple Watch Series 8. However, Apple will announce watchOS 9 and its major new features at the WWDC keynote on June 6, and will be in beta testing for the next few months.
There are only a few small rumors about what to expect, but we have our own ideas about what we want to see. Here are some of the things we want you to announce when Apple announces the next generation of watchOS.
Better low power mode
The Apple Watch already has a low power mode called power reserve, which is too basic. The power lasts four times, but you can’t use the watch for any purpose other than checking the current time. Fortunately, a more robust low power mode may actually be in progress. According to a Bloomberg report, it’s included on a watchOS 9 card, but I’m not sure exactly how it works.
Better low power mode, it’s not very Very useless, what we want. For example, you can block heart rate monitoring, most accelerometer features, third-party apps, etc. while viewing a full watch face and notifications. Perhaps it will only last 48 hours instead of 72 hours, but it’s a much better option for people who have been away from the charger for a long time.

Custom watch face
Rumor has it that watchOS 9 will update and update some of its existing faces. This is certainly necessary, but not well advanced. We wanted a custom watch face for the Apple Watch from the beginning, but Apple hasn’t done that yet. There are many issues with copyright and IP to deal with, but there are also many opportunities.
Instead of letting developers feel free to create and sell watchfaces, they envision a kind of “FaceKit” framework and developer toolkit. Similar to WidgetKit, it provides standardized fonts, interface elements, animation templates, and more to create a face that looks like Apple while maintaining enough guardrails for developers to maintain the Apple Watch experience. To do. But like iOS widgets, developers will still have enough freedom to create great unique faces.
Better sleep tracking
Sleep tracking has finally been added to the Apple Watch in watchOS 7, and watchOS 8 has been slightly improved by adding the ability to track your breathing rate during sleep.
But the Apple Watch isn’t a good sleep tracker yet. Apps like AutoSleep do a better job of automatically detecting when you’re sleeping and tracking if you’re in a deep sleep. Apple expects a simpler interface than most third-party sleep tracking apps, but still needs better and clearer insights into whether I got it. good Sleep, not just how much you got. With the introduction of the Fitbit-powered Pixel Watch, the Apple Watch needs much better native sleep tracking. watchOS 9 is a great way to get started.

Health app
Why is there no Health app on my Apple Watch yet? Half of the information in the Health app seems to come from the Apple Watch! There are health-related apps such as heart rate, cycle tracking, and ECG, but no app allows you to view your overall health data in one place.
The Apple Watch Health app probably needs some condensation compared to what’s on the iPhone, but it’s still useful to display daily health indicators and trends. Apple can get another page from Fitbit here. This page has a neatly organized Today dashboard to show you all of your daily activity totals. However, if you can check the statistics without going back and forth between multiple apps, it will be greatly improved.
Notes app that supports robust Siri
Apple Watch doesn’t have a Notes app yet. It’s understandable that Apple doesn’t want to take too much notes on that platform. Text input is a kind of slow pain.
But raise your wrist and say “Hey Siri, take a note …” to get Siri to create a new note and sync it with other devices via iCloud. This includes dictation of your remarks and voice recording as an attachment? Apple can also automatically tag notes created on your watch to make them easier to find.
And of course, there are many times when it might be good read There is also a note on the clock. I’m wondering why Apple Watch doesn’t have a rudimentary Notes app, like the Calculator app on the iPad or the Weather app on the Mac. And it’s time for Apple to add it.
