Apple expands with Apple Creative Studios today to offer new opportunities for young creatives
All new Creative Studios sessions open to the local community will be hosted at some Apple Store locations around the world
Cupertino, California Apple has announced plans to bring the Today at Apple Creative Studios initiative to more young creatives in underrated communities around the world. The extended program provides career-building mentorship, training, and resources across a wide range of arts, including a brand new curriculum for app design, podcasting, spatial audio production, and filmmaking. This year, Creative Studios will be launched in seven new cities, including Nashville, Miami, Berlin, Milan, Taipei, Tokyo and Sydney. I will be back in my second year in Chicago. Washington DC; New York City; London; Paris; Bangkok; and Beijing.

Designed to support young people facing disabilities to receive quality creative education, Creative Studios invites participants to areas such as Apple mentors, books and storytelling, app design, radio and podcasts, and photography. Connect with over 30 non-profit community partners who specialize in. Movies, and TV. Participants receive hands-on education, training, and feedback on the project. In addition to developing the creative skills of participants, mentors encourage them to think about how their talents can drive social change in the community.
Apple Store locations in some cities will be unveiled today at Apple Creative Studio sessions. These free events, led by a well-established artist who guides young participants in Creative Studios and Apple Creative Pros, are open to the public and registration is available at apple.com/today.

Last year, more than 400 young people participated in the programming of Creative Studios. The community celebrated the books, movies, and music they developed and introduced their art through Apple TV, Apple Books, and Apple Music.

App Design (New York)
This year’s new Creative Studios New York provides mentorship, insights and resources for women and non-binary creatives in conceptualizing apps that drive social impact.
Books and Storytelling (Miami, Washington)
Young Washington creatives hone their creative writing and visual storytelling skills as they create their own boardbooks, audiobooks, and storyboards. In Miami, Apple has joined community partner O, Miami, where up-and-coming BIPOC + artists are participating in a program that explores storytelling through the creation of micro audiobooks.
Music, radio, podcasts (Berlin, Nashville, Chicago, Paris)
Berlin’s aspiring musicians work closely with Refuge Worldwide and OpenMusic Lab to learn about radio production while exploring their themes with the guidance of exciting mentors. In Nashville, in collaboration with the National African American Music Museum, the program specializes in spatial audio recording by allowing participants access to the Apple Music Studio. In Paris, participants will acquire creative storytelling, audio engineering and recording skills through new programming focused on podcasting. And in Chicago, young Southwest Side creatives amplify their own stories and stories on the theme of attribution and identity through experiences focused on radio production and audio / video experimentation.
Art and design (Taipei, Milan)
Creative studios in Taipei and Milan connect mentors with aspiring young designers to explore identity while designing, creating and promoting content that represents themselves and their communities. In Milan, participants have the opportunity to create a comprehensive media landscape through a program celebrating the diversity of fashion, art and design led by Afro Fashion, while the Taipei program is a safety for young people to explore gender and identity. Create a space of creativity. These programs guide participants to production, provide mentorship and inspiration, and create access to resources and insights from the design industry.
Photos, movies, TV (London, Sydney, Beijing, Tokyo, Bangkok)
Participants in London and Sydney will create short documentary films, gain feedback and insights from established artists to explore identity, culture and expression while building cinematographic, directing and editing skills. .. In Beijing and Tokyo, participants receive professional instruction to dive into photography and video shooting as a means of telling their stories. In Bangkok, Apple has been a member of the community partner Saturday School Foundation for two years, offering young creatives the opportunity to explore the various Apple-led sessions taught by Apple’s Creative Pro team. This 6-week in-store program will focus on creating photos and music.
